I have no doubts that Choice Home Warranty are pure crooks. I purchased a home warranty then called back to Cancel the next day. They had their salesman call me back to confirm. I told him, after hearing his speech, I still intended to cancel. Later I learned he put in the notes, that I did not intend to cancel. Then it took some effort to get a cancellation form out of them, which of course I faxed back in, got a confirmation as Received on my fax machine. But wait, of course, they don't seem to have that on file. Calling back, the customer service reps seem shady, always promising to have someone call me back or email me, guess what that never happens. My saga continues, thanks Choice Home Warranty for ripping me off, you are awful. DO NOT USE CHOICE HOME WARRANTY!!!! Please save yourself!!! |

Company paid claim to previous owner and told me that it was my fault and I had to find previous owner to collect claim money. Will NEVER have this company cover any of my homes. |

I am a contractor with AA Appliance who was contacted by Sensible Home to perform needed repairs for a couple of their clients. I have completed both jobs and submitted my invoices for payment minus the deductibles I received from their clients. First job was started mid Sept 2011 and after factory ordering replacement part and completing job in early Oct and completing one more job in end of Dec 2011 I am still awaiting payment for over $300 in outstanding invoices in Mar 2012. They seem to be ok at getting their clients issues resolved in a timely manner but after their clients are happy with their appliances fixed up it seems they choose to stiff the repair company. After many messages left with their answering service with promised response within 48 hours and same time with e-mail. What a joke. At best if you actually get a hold of anyone who supposedly has authority to send payment rest assured your check is in the mail they just have to send it around the world by row boat a couple times first and then you should get it. |

This company is a the worst. i have 2 claims unpaid and I can never get to speak to anyone in the billing department. The vendor that they sent out to fix my problem is now coming after me for the bill since theyhave not paid after 3 months! |

Get a speaker phone. You'll be in phone hell for a very long time, waiting to report a problem. Stock up on candles. It will take forever until the provider shows up. Keep your old plumber/electrician's number. After several days and phone calls, AHS may authorize you to hire someone else. But that someone will be in even longer phone hell, trying to get AHS to authorize the repair needed. Wear your long johns. AHS will stall authorization to fix anything. Get strong reading glasses. AHS will duck responsibility, based on some small print you'll not find nor understand, in the long and tedious contract. AHS is the worst of the worst. |

Choice Home Warranty is the WORST. I had American Home Shield for years, and made the mistake of thinking they were all similar in quality and service. I was wrong!!! I will never buy CHW again because they find ways to weasel out of covering legitimate claims. My water main line broke completely in half on a Saturday afternoon and even though they offer 24×7x365 "service", the only "service" i received was that they sent an e-mail requesting service to the office to be answered on Monday. Alternatively, I was provided the option to get it fixed for a pre-authorized amount of $100, and hope to be reimbursed for anything over that…But guess what?…their emergency pre-authorization number for anything over $100 is only answered during normal business hours, so spend at your own risk. My claim should be covered in full if I can wait until regular business hours, so why would I wait to get pre-authorized, spend my own money, then hope to be reimbursed? Good thing I was able to find the cut-off outside the house so at least the water isn't still geysering out all over!!! I can wait until Monday to have water again, but more than that, I'm interested to discover what the reason they will undoubtedly give on Monday for not covering the claim then… |

Our company did several electrical jobs for this company and never got paid. Not one red cent, only tons of excuses and broken promises. |

Thank God that Allied handled their business in this heat. I appreciate them jumping through hoops for me. I have an infant and no a/c is NO good! |
